THE FLYING GUILLOTINE 2009
Production company Cinema Popular announced upcoming wuxia movie THE FLYING GUILLOTINE (血滴子/ Xue Di Zi) to be directed by Dante Lam

| So this is just a very early poster eh? If the poster is correct the film should be set in the Qing Dynasty judging by the costumes. Not a big fan of Qing Dynasty costumes but anyway, Dante Lam did a great job with Beast Stalker so this should be interesting I suppose. |

Going by historical accounts, these weapons were used during the times of the Yongzheng Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, so the time period seems correct.  |

yup, that is indeed correct. I just wonder if they actually used those things. Sure there were drawings but did they actually work? Realistically, they seem cumbersome. Who knows though, maybe they did |
